Ramyah Murugan is from Petaling Jaya, Selangor and is the only child in the family. Her father works in a private company and her mother is a machine operator. Ramyah was a prefect and Vice-President of the Handball Club in school. She is also a taekwando martial artist. She aspires to join the Royal Malaysian Police after graduation.
