R. Kirubakkaran is from Sungai Petani, Kedah. His father is a businessman and his mother, a homemaker. In school, he was the best student for both English and Tamil languages, and also clinched the Tokoh Maulidur Award (School Category) in 2010. He hopes to be a Pharmacist.
